The answer is, it all depends on how EMS training is offered! Anyone considering offering EMS professionally must first decide which format and corresponding price model is right for them. There are a few important differences to keep in mind. The most successful EMS concepts have shown us that EMS is not just about investing in a training device. EMS- Personal Training 1:1

Description 

 

It doesn’t get any better than this. Whether with a trainer at home or in the studio. The 1:1 application is the luxury version of EMS training.

How is the training conducted?

Individually, a trainer offers the client training for 20-45 minutes; In addition to EMS training with the strengthening program, metabolic and relaxation programs can also be used. Complex exercises can be carried out together with a trained and licensed trainer and potentially with additional equipment. The trainer controls the intensity through continuous and focused interaction. 

 
 

Price for irregular use / e.g. with a 10-session card 

At least the same price paid for a regular personal training session within the local area (per training; with home service - plus travel expenses if necessary) 

Price for regular use with contract (contractual commitment 12- 24 months, 1x per week training) 

At least 90% of a regular personal training session (per week, with home service - plus travel expenses if necessary )

A trained and experienced trainer can conduct the training in a highly individualized manner, thus ensuring maximum results. The trainer can adjust and regulate the load at all times.

EMS- Personal Training 1:2

Description

 

Effective, motivating and safe - with two clients per trainer, this is EMS training at the optimum price / performance ratio. 

How is the training conducted? 

Standardized, a trainer trains with two clients at the same time in 15-20 minute sessions using the strengthening program. The exercises are standardized and provided by exercise posters / avatar / videos. The trained and licensed trainer monitors the correct execution of movements and controls the intensity through continuous and focused interaction with both clients.

At least  50% of a regular personal training session (per training) 

Price for regular use with contract (contractual commitment 12- 24 months, 1x per week training)   

At least 40% of a regular personal training session  (per week)

Effectiveness

A trained and experienced trainer can offer standardized training for max. 2 people with high efficiency.

Motivation

The close interaction between the trainer and his/her clients ensures maximum motivation. Additionally, clients  can motivate each other. The trainer also monitors adherence to regular training schedules, ensuring sustainability.

Description 

 

Group dynamics and a favorable price might seem like an interesting alternative at first glance… 

How is the training conducted? 

A trainer is responsible for several trainees. Due to the trainer’s divided attention, the required continuous interaction for EMS is not possible. The trainer cannot monitor and adjust levels individually.

Effectiveness 

Without close supervision by a trainer and direct communication, finding the optimal stimulus is only possible to a limited extent. As a result, only a limited result can be expected. 

Motivation 

As the size of the group increases, the ability of the trainer to respond to the needs of each participant decreases significantly. Therefore, a high level of self-motivation is necessary here.
